Baltimore Ravens +3

Alright, look, it’s been a down last two weeks but it’s time for water to find its level. We get back on track with Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.

I am taking the Ravens +3 at home in this massive AFC clash of titans. This has the potential for fireworks. Josh Allen and the Bills vs. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

This is a very tough turnaround for Buffalo. They just came off a tough loss in which their offense was on the field for 90 snaps and were in possession of the football for over 40 minutes of the game. Couple this with the fact they were playing in extreme heat and now have to turn around and play Lamar Jackson and this high-octane offense on the road. Brutal.

Buffalo’s defense is really banged up, especially in the backend. They’ve already lost Micah Hyde for the season, are still without Tre White, and now they just lost one of their starting CBs, rookie Christian Benford, who just underwent surgery. This is a perfect opportunity for Baltimore to take advantage. After all, they are currently the most explosive pass offense in the NFL. On top of that, Baltimore ranks 1st in yards per play and 2nd in points per game. Lamar Jackson has been sensational thus far this season and is looking like he just may win his 2nd MVP award. Jackson is 5-0 ATS as a home underdog in his career and I am expecting him to make it 6-0.

Rolling with the Ravens +3 at even odds on Prophet Exchange!

Cleveland Browns -1.5

Another AFC North team! Another AFC North I am taking because their opponent has a tough turnaround. Atlanta returns home after two weeks on the road in Los Angeles & Seattle. They’re coming off a big road win in Seattle, but think they have their hands full in this one.

The Browns are coming off a mini-bye and have had 10+ days to get ready for this one. I expect the Browns offensive line and running game to dictate this one. Cleveland has the No. 1 rushing attack in the NFL, averaging 190 yards on the ground per game. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are going to be very hard to stop and this is a Falcons defense that ranks dead last in the NFL in rush EPA allowed. Atlanta is allowing almost five yards (4.8) per carry this season! This is not a recipe for success against this vaunted Browns rushing attack.

I just think the Browns will be able to take advantage of Atlanta in the trenches and run the ball down their throats at will. Couple this dominant run game with the play-action pass and I just think the Falcons D will have their hands full all game. Jacoby Brissett has been a good placeholder through three games and shadily been one of the most efficient passers in the NFL. Take a look for yourself below. This chart is courtesy of rbsdm.com!
